Burd, William Henry b- 17 Feb 1836 in Sparta, NJ in 1850 Census it shows his Mother Abby, and siblings in Goshen.
Looking for his Father and his Mother’s names. Possibly some reference in Church Records of the early 1800’s? May have lived in Durlandsville area-farmers? He was in the Navy during the Civil War.
Brooks, Sarah E.- b. 29 Jan 1838 NJ. wife of William Burd
Looking for her parents. Not sure if in Orange County or somewhere in NJ. Sussex County? Place of birth and parents not listed on her Death Certificate.
Any information on these two would be greatly appreciated. I believe they may have married immediately after the Civil War as their first child was born in Feb 1866. Do not know where or which church. Thank-you for any assistance.
